About On The TableOn The Table's Website On The Table on Facebook
Pasir Panjang may not be a dining hub at the moment, but it is worth the weekend wander to soak up the neighbourhood vibes of a part of the city you may not know so well.
The unclaimed hood means that space is in no short supply, and allows the cafe concept of On the Table to spread out in a roomy outlet. The high ceilings with tangles of bare lightbulbs and unfinished floors open up the area even more, with an impressive white tiled coffee bar holding court in the middle, perfect for a study date we reckon.
While the vibe is cool and spaced out, the food is warm and cosy, ranging from Jewel coffee to eggs-cellent benedicts. The Ultimate Croissant comes with a buttery spread, fluffy eggs, caramelized bacon, ham, mayo and a surprisingly drizzle of honey that pulls the breakfast flavours together deliciously.
And while many a cafe attempts the popular waffles and ice cream offering, few put as much thought into it as On the Table, where the airy batter and a la minute preparation create a crisp, fluffy base for the dreamy artisan scoops to melt into. The double scoop is a worthwhile splurge, but regardless of your order, you’re sure to like what ends up On the Table!
